Café Crawling in Byron Bay, NSW

Well foodies there is magical beach destination in Australia, New South Wales called Byron Bay, famous for being Australia’s most easterly point and for it’s; natural beauty, good surf and of course, excellent dining options.

All meals in Byron did not disappoint and there are many options at various price tags. Luckily, we’ve done the “painstaking” research…

For breakfast the best place in Byron is the Beach Cafe. Literally on Clarkes Beach…

…next to the Byron Bay camping ground, this is a professional operation with fast service, excellent coffee and nourishing breakfasts.

ACPC Tip: Get there early for a table overlooking the water! Sample some of their unusual variety of local teas too.

Lunch time is very casual in Byron, as is the general mood of the town. Our favourites bites were; OzyMex, Byron Bay Kebabs, and the Blue Olive Deli for premade lunches, quality cheeses and meats.

Another cafe to look out for; the Bayleaf Cafe, a casual coffee joint filled with hip, loud locals and great music.

The Bayleaf Cafe

ACPC Tip: A trip in land to Bangalow will not disappoint – a ten minute drive from Byron, the town is famous for its pork and offers many quirky and delicious dining options.
